There are three steps in this article section

Microsoft Excel


Open the desired file and follow the steps below.


Step 1.Click 'File', then the 'Save As' option and choose the save location.




Step 2.  Click on the 'Save as type' box and 'Select/Click', CSV (Comma delimited) from the list


Note, CSV (Comma delimited) or CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv), depending on your version of Microsoft Excel.




Step 3.  Give it a name, click the 'Save' button.



 

You may be presented with a features warning, Just click "Yes"



This warning just means that none of the formatting or formulas will be saved

Openoffice Calc (LibreOffice)


Step 1. Click 'File', then the 'Save As' option.



Step 2.  Click on the 'Save as type' box and 'Select/Click', text CSV (.csv) from the list



Step 3 After choosing the save location and giving it a name, click the 'Save' button.



You may be presented with an Export Text File option box, just Click the 'OK' button.
